Click a key to change it.

  • Brake into the corner, not through it. The brake takes most of the grip away with it, so a stab of it going into a hairpin steps the back out and points you at the exit. That is the whole trick of the game.
  • A slide is not free. Scrubbing sideways takes speed out of the car, so the fastest way round is not the most spectacular one. Listen to the tyres.
  • Bump people. A shove at the right moment puts somebody in the milk, off the table, or into a pocket, and there is nothing in the rules about it.
  • Fall a screen behind and you are scooped up and put back just behind the pack. It costs you the lap you were on and every record it might have been, but it does not cost you the race.
  • Off the table is worse. That is a second and a half standing still while everybody else goes past.
  • Every key can be changed here, or take a preset. Gamepads work without being set up: the first two share with the keyboard, the third and fourth get their own seat.
Lap records

One player opens a race and passes on the code; up to three others enter it. Whoever opens it picks the table and starts the race when everybody is in.

Needs a relay: run npm start yourself, or put the address of a Cloudflare Worker in src/config.js. See the README.

LAP RECORD

Tap the arrows, or use the stick: up and down for the letter, left and right to move along, gas to confirm. Typing works too.

PAUSED

Esc to carry on, or press resume.
